What it does
- Captures visible review items from your browser.
- Maps comments to margin notes when safe.
- Marks additions and deletions in LaTeX.
- Sends ambiguous items to a review appendix instead of guessing.
Local workflow
The capture script contains no network request. The Python converter uses the standard library and runs locally on your computer. No cloud processing is required.
Requirements
- Desktop browser with developer tools.
- Python 3.
- A LaTeX environment using xcolor and ulem.
- Authorized access to the Overleaf project you are reviewing.
Important limitations
- Only review items currently present/visible in the page can be captured.
- Overleaf UI changes can affect capture behavior.
- A plain project ZIP cannot reconstruct native review history.
- Generated output should be inspected before external sharing.
